Deciding on the Natural Healing Path
An Oviedo local, Dr. Robert has lived in our lovely town since 1999. His father’s back troubles were what led Dr. Robert to explore the chiropractic profession. The first back surgery his dad received took place when Dr. Robert was 9. There were two more surgeries by the time Dr. Robert entered chiropractic school. He watched his father go through multiple procedures, see numerous doctors and surgeons, take medications and try to endure the difficult healing process post-surgery, only to experience temporary relief and suffer from the short-term and long-term complications of surgery.
Dr. Robert believes that if his father had known about chiropractic care before he elected to have surgery, his life would be significantly different. It has become Dr. Robert’s passion to educate people about what chiropractic can do for them and how it could potentially change their lives.
Putting the CARE back in HealthCARE
A statistic states that only 10% of the population has seen a chiropractor. Dr. Robert couldn’t help but imagine what would have been different if the message of chiropractic had reached his father before he had resorted to surgery. He wanted to impact people before they got to that vulnerable point and was motivated to join the chiropractic profession.
To begin his chiropractic education, Dr. Robert attended the University of Central Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. He then enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He graduated both institutions with honors. Dr. Robert has successfully completed all four parts of the National Chiropractic Board of Examiners along with Physiotherapy Boards. He is also a proud member of the American Chiropractic Association and The Florida Chiropractic Association. Dr. Robert has also received his Board Certification in Chronic Intractable Pain and Neuropathy by The American College Of Physical Medicine. He also recently became a published author publishing his first book titled “From Illness to Wellness: The Innovative Healthcare Approach.”
Enjoying Life in Oviedo
In his spare time, Dr. Robert, who is a newlywed, likes to spend time with his family. His lovely wife is from Clearwater, FL and has moved here with him to open CryoNext Integrative Healthcare in our growing area. It is important to Dr. Robert to give back to the community he grew up in. He has coached basketball and soccer since his undergraduate days, being a mentor for local area children. He’s involved in his church and enjoys attending local health and wellness events, as well as staying active and playing basketball and soccer in our local leagues. Dr. Abraham is also a proud member of the Oviedo Winter Springs Chamber of Commerce.
From Illness to Wellness: The Innovative Healthcare Approach
The burden of achieving good health falls squarely on your own shoulders. You cannot rely on others to watch out for your health. You cannot find good health at the doctor’s office or in the pharmacy. You can’t find it in the junk food aisles of the grocery store or in fast food restaurants. Good health can only be found when you commit to a healthy lifestyle.
